From 26-27 May 2025, three employees of CONCORDIA Humanitarian Organization, responsible for the development of digital programs with a focus on adult education, participated in a job shadowing mobility at AI4NGO in Vienna, Austria. This experience gave them the opportunity to deepen their understanding of data protection policies and procedures according to GDPR standards, as well as the use of automated digital tools that facilitate information security and management in nonprofit organizations.

Participants explored the structure and functioning of custom IT systems, learning how they can effectively support organizations’ activities by digitizing internal and external processes with a focus on transparency and increased impact. They discussed digitization strategies tailored to users’ needs and the development of digital competencies among teams.

The mobility also provided important insight into the ethical integration of artificial intelligence in the nonprofit sector. Through workshops and hands-on sessions, participants learned about the responsible use of AI in communicating with grantees, analyzing data, and supporting the organization’s activities, developing ideas for AI projects in line with the social mission.
