CONCORDIA Academy announces the launch of the Training of Trainers in Palliative Care program within the project iCare – An Integrated International Perspective in Palliative Care and Appropriate Support for Elderly and End-of-Life Careco-funded by the Erasmus+ program. Project objective: To build resilient and inclusive care communities where professionals, carers, patients, and citizens work together to improve the health and quality of life of patients facing serious conditions or at the end of life.

About the program: The Train of Trainers in Palliative Care will bring together 21 professionals from Austria, Romania, and Portugal.
They will develop a training program for socio-medical professionals, caregivers, and home caregivers in the three countries.

We are looking for 21 socio-medical professionals (7 from Romania, 7 from Austria & 7 from Portugal) who are motivated to participate in this intensive program dedicated to improving palliative care.
The trainees will not only receive high-quality technical training, but will also focus on skills training to provide emotional support to professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Our unique approach, enriched by the expertise of valued partners in Portugal and Austria, also targets non-oncological conditions suffered by patients requiring palliative care.
