A.C.T Project – Accelerator of competences for leaders and organizations – Organizational Development Program by CONCORDIA Academia
Because we are sure that you want to build a healthy, resilient and future-ready organization, we invite you to apply for a program dedicated to leaders and teams in public and private social organizations, who are concerned about their strategic development, interested in healthy self-care and mental health practices at the organizational level.
CONCORDIA Academia is launching the selection process for Project A.C.T – Accelerator of Competencies through Training for Resilient Leaders and Social Organizations, a program dedicated to training healthy self-care practices and promoting mental health in social organizations in Romania. The project addresses 10 organizations from 6 counties bordering the Danube region and 4 other counties in the country.
The aim of the project is to support a sustainable transformation of the organizational culture, oriented towards increasing the individual and collective resilience of teams, with direct impact by increasing the efficiency and sustainability of social services.
What is self-care and organizational mental health?
Self-care means taking care of your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, and in organizations, these practices help teams to be more resilient, prevent burnout and create a safe and supportive work environment for all members. The organization itself, as an institutional environment, has a responsibility to foster a healthy culture of self-care and a climate that enhances performance.
What do we offer?
Participation in a comprehensive training and coaching program, which includes:
- 3 training modules (September-November 2025) of 3 days each, in a mixed format (face-to-face and online);
- 6 online team coaching sessions for each organization (October 2025-March 2026).

Calendar of activities:
- Until 31 July 2025: Selection of participating organizations;
- September 2025 (physical): Module 1 – Organizational Self-Care.
- October 2025 (online): Module 2 – Organizational Mental Health. Organizational Culture vs. Climate. Organizational psychological safety.
- November 2025 (physical): Module 3 – Sustainable Organizational Development: Tools and Processes; Action Plan.
- October 2025-March 2026: 6 team coaching sessions in support of plan implementation.
- March 2026: Annual closing and networking event.
Who can apply?
Public and private organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 years in social service delivery;
- Target group addressed by the organization: people from extremely vulnerable social categories;
- At least 10 people active (employees and/or volunteers) in the last year;
- Faced with limited resources to access organizational development solutions;
- They are oriented towards sustainable organizational development processes demonstrated through documented strategic planning processes.
How to apply?
Interested applicants should fill in the application form here, which includes:
- Motivation letter justifying eligibility and interest in the project;
- Updated organizational chart of the organization;
- Strategic plan or similar document reflecting organizational development directions (if any).
In your cover letter, please include:
- Specific challenges faced by the organization in accessing and implementing internal capacity development solutions;
- Expected impact of participating in the program.
- Anticipate the organization’s commitment to the training process, but also in relation to the implementation of the plans resulting from the program.

The selected organizations will sign a commitment to be actively involved throughout the entire program, including the implementation of sustainability plans. We want to work with organizations that are committed to investing time and effort in their own capacity building.
