Workshop: Lead the change by leading people! CONCORDIA Academia is inviting you to take part in a 3 days event organized in Sibiel, Romania (in a beautiful rural area in the center of Romania, 20 km from Sibiu), between 9-11 May 2023, under the umbrella of the Community Led Events Program, NGO Academy.
> Who are we looking for?
The workshop is addressed to executives and middle managers of social organizations (HR strategists included) from Central and South East Europe interested to increase their capacity to deal with challenges linked with the strategic management of human resources. We explore opening valuable dialogues, finding new perspectives, and a diverse networking space. Estimated number of participants - 15-20 persons. Event language – English.
> Main topics to be discussed:
*Managing the human resources as a responsibility of top management – challenges and best practices (including smart recruitment, team motivation, and assessment);
*Supporting workplace learning as a way to develop competencies in social field professionals;
*Self-care – the cornerstone of a qualitative social intervention;
*We don’t need another hero, what we need is inclusive leadership;
*Boosting resilience – the use of functional supervision and coaching as support services in the social field;
*Future skills and how to train them at @work – a European perspective.
> Provisional schedule:
- Tuesday 9 May 2023 (interval 16-19.30 and 20.30-22.00),
- Wednesday 10 May 2023 (interval 9-12.30 and 16.30-19.00)
- Thursday 11 May 2023 (interval 9.00-13.00).
> Logistics and costs
The event will take place at Pensiunea Sibiel, with accommodation available in single or double rooms. Please consider that the organizers will cover the cost of the participation for one representative/organization (accommodation for 2 nights, coffee breaks, and meals for the duration of the event). Transportation costs will be reimbursed for participants from abroad (up to 200 Euro/ participant). Given the limited budget, NGO Academy representatives and early bird registration have priority.
You may also choose to participate with more than one representative of your organization or to be accompanied by a spouse/partner, with the condition of covering the cost of the touristic services (accommodation and meals) implied.
Please consider that both Sibiu and Bucharest could be considered for air transportation, while organizers will ensure transfer from the railway station/airport (against a minimum payment).
