The successful completion of the Capacity Building for Trainers and Teachers: Learning the Blended Way, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, was marked by a super event on blended learning held on 30 May 2023 in Bucharest organized by CONCORDIA Academiatogether with the project partners Centro per la Cooperazione Internazionale, Italy and CONCORDIA Bulgaria Foundation. And because it was about blended learning, we also organized it in a blended format. And we’re glad the event went well.

The event participants formed 4 enthusiastic teams (Think Big, Out of the box, Open Mind, Know It All) and worked on designing a training program that would meet the most relevant training needs in the current context. In parallel, 2 other teams worked online, on the same type of design.

In the second part of the event, the participants were invited to the blended carousel, where they explored all the materials made in the “Capacity Building for Trainers and Teachers: Learning the Blended Way” project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, and the partners from Italy and Bulgaria shared their expertise and answered questions in a Q&A session.

We invested a lot of effort in this event because we were enthusiastic throughout the entire project in which several training activities for trainers and teachers happened.

During the project implementation, 20 trainers from the 3 countries were involved in an extensive process of Training the Trainers, through which they enriched their skills in planning, content delivery, and evaluation in the field of blended learning (face-to-face and online) and how to adapt the content to the principles of Education for Global Citizenship and Human Rights. At the national level, trainings on blended learning adapted to the context of each country was piloted.

#testimonials

“I was very pleased, everything went very well and was interesting, and the presenters, teachers, trainers are excellent; Appreciate it! Congratulations to all organisers and participants!”

“The most exciting moments were meeting new people, the way we worked, and the keys that were set in motion while communicating with others.”

“I would like, first of all, to better master the digital tools that make it possible to access blended format and implement this blended meeting and communication system.”

“I have been introduced to many new tools and, crucially for me, I have gained the courage to experiment and have someone to ask if I don’t find a solution.”

“It’s a challenge, but I think it’s not impossible; This type of learning requires more resources (human and logistical), but it also offers learning opportunities to those who cannot be physically present at the process.”
