As a regional Centre of Excellence, CONCORDIA Academia offers certified training courses for practitioners, managers and supervisors in an experiential learning environment as well as consultancy, coaching and supervision to social service professionals.

All people in need can benefit from adapted, high quality and sustainable support from social service professionals in order to live an independent meaningful life.

Former member of the international executive board of CONCORDIA International. After 20 years of experience in HR & OD and organizational management, both in NGOs and business fields, she finds that „the performance in the social area is defined through the quality of intervention and work ethic. Bianca Mătăsariu

"Supervision in social services"

Has always been interested in education and a path to personal and professional growth. She believes each individual has great potential and with the right support high performance can be achieved. After more than 11 years in accounting she decided to dedicate her attention and efforts to education. She worked with students as an English teacher, as a mentor and community facilitator for teachers and now is managing various projects addressed to professionals in social field and education.For her working with and for peoples brings meaning for each activity she is involved in. She likes challenges and  learned that for each problem there are always at least 3 solutions.

She works in close contact with the non-governmental sector since nearly 20 years.  Starting with 1999, she started with the facilitation of teams for the preparation of new projects. The work with her colleagues, social workers, educators, psychologists etc. allowed her to better understand the needs of the social sector. She successfully completed her master in communication and marketing in Milan and another one in social and health management in Bucharest. She is passionate about trainings, team work and she wants to contribute to the growth of capacity of organizations through development of human resources.

She is a practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the social field working in national and international projects targeting vulnerable groups. She is committed to make the world a better place for all by bringing together ideas and people that have an impact on many levels, ultimately creating a more inclusive world. After her bachelor in Social Work she completed her academic studies with a MA in Social Anthropology and Community Development followed by various trainings and international fellowships in the US. She is interested in social policy, research and training as important tools that benefit our society.

The CONCORDIA Academia Office in Chișinău facilitates the access of Moldavian professionals in the socio-humanitarian field to quality and targeted training and personal and professional development programs subscribed to the same general objective, of capacitating and increasing the quality of social services at national level.

Affiliation

EURODIR is an European trans-national network of the organizations specialized in training social institutions managers. Its main goal is to allow the members to share, discover and compare, cooperate, promote the best training level for the managers working in the social and health sector.

Following an accreditation process that lasted more than one year and meant the evaluation of the curriculum, methods and capacities to train and certify, starting with 2020, CONCORDIA Academia may offer diplomas recognized by EURODIR to the social service manager course graduates.
